This is half evil intent to get you folks hooked in a story so that you'll shell out 5 measly bucks for the full thing, and half a great chance to get real feedback from the rest of you who are cheaper than $5.
Clicky..! [link]
So READ! It'd be cool if some of ya bought one or both of em, but even if you don't buy, gimmie feedback! Book 3 is in the works, so it's a great time to influence me!
------the remainder of this post is just my old post. I'm lazy.
Hey folks. Lemmie be honest and blunt. I'm trying to promote my books, but with zero ad budget, here I am, being a knob. Anyway, the second one is pretty fresh off the presses, and I'm still getting good feedback on the first, so please give em a gander. (And getting both off amazon qualifies ya for free shipping in the US! [link] )

Lifehack is the story of Regan, who dumps her girlfriend, and moves to go mooch off of her brother in another city. Shortly after she gets there and settles in, a zombie infestation erupts, triggered by a nanotechnology expert who has little motive beyond seeing how much fun he can have.
Regan seeks her brother, and ends up quarantined in the city. Two year later, she meets a soldier who she falls in love with.
The problem is that the soldier is an inconveniently straight woman, and the man responsible for the zombies is still at large.
Watching Yute takes place some time after Lifehack, but I hesitate to call is a sequel exactly. The main characters are new, and while Lifehack is a sort of action-romp, Watching Yute is gentler, more personal, and more cruel.
Cassidy wants a fresh start, and accepts a transfer to the Yute temple base, where soldiers guard an ancient ruin as part of a treaty with the local aboriginal people. Cassidy wasn't looking for a new love, but she found one. Cheryl.
Unfortunately, her new base is also home to an unseen nanite presence, which attracts all the wrong kinds of people. When the base suffers an unthinkable loss, Cassidy finds herself with providence over life and death.

1. Paypal refused to add funds. I must have taken too much cash out the day the transfer was to take place.
2. Laptop fried, and family desktop isn't secure.
I swear I'll get that book eventually.

Go ahead an argue with me. Many have tried, most have failed. The rest cheated.

"laptop fried" is sometime I'm all to familiar with.. the one I use these days has a "HD optional" philosophy, among other issues. Hopefully you can get your stuff working.
Incidentally, are you getting the ebook through the lulu source, or smashwords? Or are we talking about a paper copy?

homepage: [link] My two sci-fi novels, Lifehack, about girls who like girls who kill zombies, and Watching Yute, a more sobering look at lesbian romance, the abuse of nanites, and the effects of loss.
And yeah, I'll have to get a new laptop, or a desktop. I just shoved up the $80 to get the memory moved to my external HDD.

Also... the lulu version is a penny cheaper!
