The pencil just gave rise to that expression, without any planning, and I saw Rean, so here she is, in a moment of self doubt.

Usually while im coloring a character, i have a cloud pattern dully in the background as a temp thing.. a low contrast grey photoshop cloud pattern...and partway through, i had to recreate the layer, and feeling lazy, i just floodfilled grey. And it just fit. SO, here's to one of the simpler 'backgrounds' I've done in about .. a decade..

edit- forgot to mention.. tried a new set of colors for the skin tones, inspired by masume shirow.

The colouring on the skin is amazing. I find skin a complete bitch to colour, but you've done it so brilliantly.

behe, thanks..! I think coloring is my strong point, and the lineart is my weak point.. i've had several "bleh" linearts saved by colors coming out well...

this was one I was actually pretty pleased with the lines.. I knew I had done SOMETHING right when my wife commented on it while I was drawing.. (and she doesnt pay attention to ANYTHING i do, hehe)

ah! not exactly the way i would color this but...it's well done: the skin tone, the highlights...i recommend to work on her face a bit more. the expression is good but it could look even better with some more details. just one thing: there's something very obviously wrong with her tits. they don't hang on the right 'spot', if you know what i mean

i really think she'd look even hotter if you'd adjust their 'hight'.

overall: nice work!
